A consultant trainer in credit analysis and related subjects offering online and in-house training and consultancy.
Yuen studied History and French at the University of Sydney and joined Chemical Bank when he graduated. He completed the Credit Training Programme at Chemical Bank (6 months in-classroom training followed by supervised credit analysis) in New York, and worked for Chemical in Sydney, Australia. He then moved to London and joined the counterparty credit risk team at Lehman Brothers, followed by a similar position with Credit Suisse First Boston. He rose from analyst to First Vice President, and deputy head of credit risk for EMEA. He joined Gordian Knot, the asset management firm in London, as Head of Credit Research of a large investment grade bond portfolio.
Yuen’s banking experience encompasses Middle Market corporate lending and credit analysis, trading floor credit risk management, and large corporate credit analysis and relative value assessments.
In 2004, Yuen became a consultant trainer, joining Fitch Learning in 2006, and has since taught in many regions and cities, including New York, London, Frankfurt, Paris, Washington DC, Toronto, throughout Europe, the Middle East, Singapore and Sydney.
